At present, we do not, or are not able to, provide certain services that do not align with our code of ethics, our client-service model, or in situations where the supplier does not align with our values or does not offer a travel agent portal. This includes:
- Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, or other platforms offering unvetted individual rentals.
- Hunting or large-game excursions of any kind.
- Activities that are environmentally unethical.
- Large-scale commercial cruise lines (e.g., Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Disney) with the exception of Virgin Voyages.
- Ride-share services (e.g., Uber, Lyft). I can arrange private cars or shared vans for ground transfers.
- Theme park vacations (e.g., Disney, Universal Studios). However, we can provide referrals to theme park specialists to better help you!
Not at all. Many clients come to us with just an idea, feeling or intention—seeking rejuvenation, adventure, cultural immersion, or family connection. Our expertise shines in translating these desires into the perfect destination and experience. Of course, if you have specific places in mind, we excel at crafting journeys that reveal their hidden depths.
For optimal availability and the most thoughtful planning, we recommend 6-12 months for complex international journeys, especially during peak seasons. That said, we pride ourselves on our ability to create extraordinary experiences even with shorter timelines. Last-minute inspiration strikes? Let's talk—you might be surprised by what's possible.

After your feedback, we refine the details until every element feels perfect. Throughout your journey, we remain available for support and adjustments. Upon your return, we'll debrief to ensure future travels build on what you've learned about yourself as a traveler.
We operate on a transparent fee structure that aligns our interests with yours—creating the most extraordinary experience possible. Our planning fees are based on the complexity of your journey and are discussed during the initial conversation. Travel agents across the globe are compensated on a commission structure from their suppliers. We match the supplier that best meets your travel needs and style.
Not generally. We have access to the same pricing as online booking sites and can price-match when comparing identical options. In many cases, we can even secure exclusive discounts or promotional offers that aren’t available to the general public. Booking with us means you get competitive pricing plus the added value of personalized service, expert advice, and potential perks—all at no extra cost.
If you are not currently traveling, contact me via email anytime or via phone during normal business hours (Mon-Fri, 9 AM – 6 PM EST). If you are traveling, the primary point of contact is your supplier provided to you in your itinerary.
As a solo entrepreneur, it is not possible to be available to all my clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, if there is a circumstance that warrants a discussion, I am available via phone.
While many agencies can book luxury accommodations, our difference lies in our approach as cultural interpreters who transform ordinary vacations into perspective-shifting journeys. Practical Matters
Absolutely. We secure the most advantageous routing, timing, and comfort level for your journey, often accessing special fares and upgrade opportunities through our industry partnerships.
While we strongly recommend travel insurance for all journeys, we aren't licensed insurance advisors. We'll connect you with trusted third-party providers who can explain policy details and coverage options tailored to your specific trip and needs. We also have a Travel Insurance information page
Your preferences—whether dietary, mobility-related, or simply personal—form the foundation of our planning. We communicate these details to every partner along your journey, ensuring seamless accommodation of your needs without constant repetition on your part.

Justin wanted to create better travel experiences for others while creating better work/life balance for himself. He wants to blend his professional background with his passions and expand respect for the planet and each other.
Breakout Travel Co. travel agents have achieved the Certified Travel Professional (CTP) designation, completing coursework and examinations to learn and navigate the industry. In addition, the company is member of, or certified with:

In the travel industry, “suppliers” offer travel companies that provide components, products, and services (Example: cruise companies, tour companies, airlines, etc.). Breakout Travel Co. partners with carefully vetted suppliers to deliver exceptional travel experiences. The suppliers are meticulously selected to align with our clients’ needs, meet our ethical standards and provide the best service. We also prioritize local suppliers whenever possible to create immersive, authentic experiences for our clients.
